Two nights a week, once a month, our local GRAND Music Club bands will play during the evenings for your pleasure in the Cimarron Club!  Bring your own dry snacks and enjoy a fun, casual evening as you listen to new and old songs by new and old performers with favorites you can sing along with.

On Friday, Sept 13, and Saturday, Sept 14, 2024, this series features one of our homegrown bands:  The CBD Project.

The CBD Project takes its name from the three founding members Craig, Bob, and Dave. Not exactly what you might have been thinking, although they are both therapeutic. Some of the styles/artists they feature include Lyle Lovett, Jerry Jeff Walker, the Allman brothers, Tom Petty, and a couple of original songs! Featuring all kinds of musical instruments - electric, steel, wood and whatever a banjo is made of.

JAMES HERSCH and FRIENDS
James Hersch, a resident in the Grand, has been playing guitar and performing most of his life. He and his wife Candy moved to Grand from Champlin, Minnesota. He is honored to have been asked to be part of the Cimarron Live series and is eager to share his stories and music with his new community.

James will be joined by other Grand musicians and songwriters for these uniquely entertaining evenings of storytelling with guitar accompaniment. Enjoy a wide range of both upbeat and poignant original songs, rooted in the lyrical singer songwriter tradition of Harry Chapin, James Taylor and John Denver.

2024 celebration of music - broadway at the grand

Come and experience a bit of Broadway, sponsored by the Grand Music Club and featuring some of the very talented members of the Music and Drama clubs. You'll see and hear live singing and dancing all accompanied by a superb orchestra led by Nancy Gordon, featuring Dan Reed and Marino Galluzzo. Also enjoy The Grand Singers Octet, The Grandettes Dancers, as well as fantastic solo and duet performances.

You will hear hits from a wide variety of shows - Guys and Dolls, Funny Girl, Chicago, The Lion King, Hamilton and many more!

For the third year in a row, every month one of our own Grand Music Club bands performs live in the Cimarron Club.  Some of our most talented musicians and singers are featured and you can bring your own dry snacks and enjoy the cash bar for a fun, casual evening as you listen to original songs and old favorites by our outstanding performers.

On Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30, 2024, we will be featuring the always entertaining Gold Rush show. The music of Gold Rush can best be described as “Americana”, a blending of sounds from the musical worlds of rock, folk, country, bluegrass, rhythm & blues and other influential sources. They perform songs by such artists as John Prine, Willie and Waylon, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Eagles, Pure Prairie League and many more.
