Often abbreviated to just "New York, New York", this song is the theme song from the musical film New York, New York (1977). Composed by John Kander, with lyrics by Fred Ebb, it was sung by Liza Minelli in the film and later became a signature song for Frank Sinatra and salute to "The Big Apple" city itself.
The Sinatra-style arrangement by Mark Hayes was the opening song at the Grand Singers 2024 Spring Concert "Everywhere That You Are".
